I am a wife to a giant and a mama to three little rascals (7 year old twins + a 3 year old). I knew I wanted to be photographer from a very young age and went on to major in Fine Art Photography at Baylor University. I pursued photography to serve around the world promoting and raising awareness for various ministries and orphan outreach programs through photography + videography.
I spent time all over the world pursuing this passion in China, Rwanda, and Western + Eastern Europe. My eyes (and lens) saw a lot in those years - complete heartbreak, injustice and loss, but I also witnessed, and had the privilege of documenting, the Lord's goodness, faithfulness, and sovereignty through even the darkest of moments.
In 2008 I launched my family photography brand and opened the doors to the education side of my business a few years later; it is such a joy to help others in my industry!

After leaving DFW to become a student at the University of Arkansas and then spending nearly a decade in Oklahoma, I feel so lucky to get to call Texas home again. I started my professional career working with nonprofits and private foundations. Soon after getting married, my husband and I decided to start a family. We had three babies in four quick years, which left me desperately wanting something to hold onto as the days flew by.
When I became a photographer in 2015, my goal was to document these fleeting seasons for mamas who also felt like the days were passing so quickly. I love what I do, the people I get to meet, and the stories I get to hear! My own family inspires me in my work and my client's families inspire me in my motherhood! It all comes full circle and I am so grateful to spend my days documenting some of life’s most beautiful moments!
